01 OVERVIEW
Electromagnetic door locks are locks that work by electromagnetic force and consist of two main components – a steel plate that is surrounded by a wire coil that can be magnetized and an armature plate that is composed of steel. Once the coil has an electrical current passing through it, there is magnetization of the steel plate. The armature plate is attracted strongly by the armature plate, which locks the door.

Anti-residual magnetism (ARM)
These locks come with an ARM, which lets doors be opened up minus any resistance from the remaining magnetism that is conducted to the armature plate. ARM is pretty much a standard in all the EM locks that abide by the environmental, safety and health requirements specified by the American UL, the German TUV and the European CE, which ensure safety for customers.

Magnetic Bond, Sensor
This type of sensor helps monitor the unlocking and locking status of doors. A closed door is indicated by N.O. output while an open door is represented by N.C. output. Once the door is unlocked, a green light is activated whereas a red light is turned on once the door is locked.
Door Held Open Alarm
Locks that are integrated with buzzer alarm are turned on by “VR Timer Adjust” that is used for fine-tuning the door opening time from 1 to 80 seconds. In case the timer alarm is programmed to sound 5 seconds after opening of the door, there will be an audible alarm until the closure of the door.
Relocking timer
Mag locks for glass doors unlock when the power is cut off, and again relock after getting power. It is possible to set the timer from 1 to 80 seconds.
Door status sensor
It shows when a door is closed or open, so that it is not difficult for users to know when they are going out with the door not being locked. EM locks for doors are very strong, and it is almost impossible to tamper with them, which makes them safer.
